ARTIST FOCUS: DENNIS FERRER
Dennis Ferrer has been at the forefront of electronic dance music for well over 15 years now, transitioning between styles and influences and keeping it interesting for club-goers and “heads” alike meaning he has always been a huge pull on dance floors across the globe!
Making techno & ambient music in the 90’s, melodic house in the early 2000’s and reinventing himself again over the past few years, Ferrer has been focusing on a somewhat darker, more techno-influenced sound lately.
This most recent chapter in the “Evolution of Dennis Ferrer” resulted in a string of successful remixes, such as of Damian Lazarus ‘Fly Away’ (Crosstown Rebels, 2017), his work with Booka Shade and London Grammar
Booka Shade ‘Lost High’ (Blaufield M10, 2017)
London Grammar ‘Sights’ (BBC R1 Essential New Tune June 2014)
Last year saw Dennis team up with another legendary producer in Skream with a collaboration project called Local Heroes, with the first release, a track called ‘Old Yella’ (Objektivity) which was every bit as good as you imagine it would be with two giants in the game working together…
But of equal gravitas are Dennis’ own productions on his own imprint Objektivity with classics such as MANIAC 3000
Therefore ensure you do not miss out on what promises to be an incredible afternoon and evening on the white sands in Nusa Dua at a VERY special edition of SUNDAZE at MANARAI BEACH CLUB with support from the full SUNDAZE residents roster!!
