Secret Bali Lifestyle is a new feature we will be running where we take a peek at the world of Bali outside of music, be it arts, crafts or simply worthwhile causes and events that we feel deserve some attention and support.

This week we focus on a Sunday programme of events at Potato Head that are designed to raise awareness of both the environment and alternative cultures through an art based workshop and a film respectively. Both of which should really offer some entertainment and education to those amongst you who yearn for a better future and understanding of other cultures.

First up, during the day, Potato Head continue their sustainable Sundays offering through a link up with the guys and girls from Green School who will be collecting trash from the beach, separating their collection into colours before creating a magical art-piece on canvas with the items collected for an event called PAINT BY NUMBERS.

Then later on that evening on the Escalier Grass there will be a film screening of “Wisdomkeepers, Paqo Andino,” an inspirational film revealing the integrated lifeways of the Andean Holy Mountain Tradition followed by a Q&A With Filmmaker Jeffrey Huamanchiq Wium.

So if you are in or around the Seminyak area and are looking for some alternative and extremely rewarding alternatives to the usual offering of music and food then get yourself down to Potato Head this Sunday!
