PACHA X Secret Bali Life - PREVIEW JULY 7TH EVENT

Last weekend saw the first in the series of high season collaborations between Pacha and Mrs Sippy and what a superb event to kick it off. They hit the ground running and despite this incredibly unseasonal Balinese weather threatening to throw a literal dampener on proceedings it all went off without a hitch and then some!

Cassius playing Pacha - Ibiza On Tour Event at Mrs Sippy

The music, the production and the vibe were all top draw and if this is a taste of what’s to come, then bring it on and fast! Which is lucky as the next one is only a week and a half away!!

As one would expect they kicked off the first event with an act bordering on the commercial side of things in Cassius but for the next show they are really going head on into the more underground and credible side of the industry with TWO awesome headline acts!

Monkey Safari have been one of the most sought after performers anywhere on the circuit, since blowing up in 2015, when they launched their Hommage record label, which has seen them work and remix for musical giants such as Josh Wink, John Digweed, Richie Hawtin and the legendary Moby with their remix of ‘Almost Love’ becoming a monster hit a couple of years back.

When they are not busy in the studio, the German duo are constantly flying round the globe playing at ALL the major festivals and clubs and despite all of this, still find time to run their own venue, The Charles Bronson Club in Halle, where they are based.

As if that was not enough for your Rupiah, which it certainly should be, the Pacha guys are also flying in a personal favourite in the Secret bali Life Office in Tiefschwarz!!!

Basti Schwarz & Ali Schwarz of Tiefschwarz

When Monkey Safari were busy putting together their label Hommage in 2015 ready to take the world by storm, Tiefschwarz were celebrating their 20th year at the top of the game!! The Berlin based brothers are about as cool and credible as it gets in the electronic music scene and to have them alongside Monkey Safari really is a great combination and representation of German born electronic music spanning over 20 years!

One of the best gigs to ever go down, for those who were in attendance, in Bali, was when Tiefschwarz played at the now defunct Mint Lounge in 2014.. It was nothing short of epic and to have them back alongside another huge act is a real treat and something that really deserves support so that this wonderful island continues to establish itself globally as a home and base for great acts and great events for those in the know when it comes to quality electronic music!

So start saving and clearing out the diary because Pacha is back and we for one are super happy about it and this event cannot come round soon enough!
